the absolute peak of making a visual novel where the mc is worse than the damn yandere... it's genius. why didn't i think of that. this is a very fun and adorably horrifying game that i ran through in one evening a while back, but ever since then i knew i was absolutely enamoured w/ milo! i found myself getting attached to every different kind of milo, and i could barely even hate eris bc i lowk.. relate to them .. NOT THAT MUCH but yk. i was living vicariously through eris. whatever.
anyways, i do think this is one of my favorite depictions of a toxic relationship. being in the perspective of the Abuser and knowing their selfish intentions, using milo's pre-existing interest in them to turn them into an ideal partner (or even.. a perfect love..) Should feel creepy as hell, but milo's eagerness to obey and eris' lack of remorse, even in less favorable endings, made it all feel so.. normal. i knew eris was a bad person coming in and i was still cheering on for milo to protect his pookie! as if said pookie wasn't paying off people to beat them up in the violence route! my god!!
ok i'm rambling. i'm writing this off the dome because this vn in particular i really enjoyed and am really excited to seeing the additional content when it comes out. yay!!
