watched this at a private showing with free snacks which definitely improved the experience. i'm a young gay suburban kid watching some young gay shit where they didn't stop singing for 5 seconds. but watching everything come together to create the classic wizard of oz story was CRAZYYY!! also cynthia and ariana's performances were just. ugh (/pos). they should've let em kiss. but genuinely the allusions to police brutality and government corruptions had me drinking my lemonade with a shaking hand... like i was scared for fiero!! also fuck nessa but in a way that shows i understand and relate to her character and am not just trashing a black disabled woman.
